Mystery Bug: Rusting, Early 70's, VW Beetle
June 24, 2015
There's a recycle toy shop that I go to with the kids, and near it is this seemingly abandoned Volkswagen Beetle. First off, I've got to say that that green really pops.
This Beetle Saloon was built in 1971. It has a 1,302cc Flat 4 engine.
I've set myself an ambitious target, and that is to unearth all of Japan's rusting, nostalgic gems. It's not going to be easy. They're shy creatures and prefer to remain hidden. And, limited time and funds mean they're likely to stay that way,
which would be not cool! <More>
