Rare TE71 - 1980 Toyota Sprinter 1600 Trueno Coupe - 2T-GEU

April 07, 2018

It appears as though Motor Spirit Alpha of Fukuoka City has packed up shop, and that has caused me to search the archives for a classic Toyota coupe that they once had up for sale. This E70-series Sprinter Trueno liftback is powered by the 2T-GEU engine, and is indeed a rare bird.

The E70 Series Sprinter was built from Mar 1979 to Jun 1987. This Sprinter coupe was built in 1980. It has a 1,588cc inline 4 engine.

Related: Toyota Corolla.
