Mega, Mega RARE! 1964 Honda S500. (Not S600 or S800!)

February 17, 2016

This is definitely one of the coolest cars I've seen at a car show in Japan. And I've seen some doozies.

The AS280 Series S was built from Jul 1963 to Sep 1964. This S convertible was built in 1964. It has a 531cc inline 4 engine.

How does winning stuff sound?

I've set myself an ambitious target, and that is to unearth all of Japan's rusting, nostalgic gems. It's not going to be easy. They're shy creatures and prefer to remain hidden. And, limited time and funds mean they're likely to stay that way, which would be not cool! <More>
