Works Overfenders: 1973 Toyota Celica 1600GT Liftback

February 02, 2017

Here's a car I've been seeing around pretty much ever since I started going to car shows in Japan. Eye-catching for sure, but for various reasons it's taken me a very long time to do the video on this wide-body, first generation LB Celica.

The A20/35 Series Celica was built from Dec 1970 to Jul 1977. This Celica liftback was built in 1973. It has a 1,588cc inline 4 engine.
