Dream Weaver: Bathurst Winning Brock Tribute VF Holden Commodore SS

August 15, 2017

Vinyl wraps aren't really my thing, but I like Holden Commodores, and I like Peter Brock and Bathurst! This VF Commodore SS is looking the goods with its (Skepple Inc) tribute wrap to the 1983 Bathurst-winning #25 HDT car driven by John Harvey, Peter Brock, Larry Perkins, and Phil Brock. I spotted this car on the weekend at the Lakeside Park race track in Queensland, Australia.

This VF sedan was built in 2016. It has a 6,162cc V8 engine.

How does winning stuff sound?

I've set myself an ambitious target, and that is to unearth all of Japan's rusting, nostalgic gems. It's not going to be easy. They're shy creatures and prefer to remain hidden. And, limited time and funds mean they're likely to stay that way, which would be not cool! <More>
