Honda Mugen Beat: Retired International Racer

I was on my way to a farewell drift event for drift legend Nomura Ken when I saw this retired Honda Beat race car. It's raced in Sepang (Malasia), Macau, and of course local tracks in Kyushu.
This Beat convertible was built in 1991. It has a 656cc inline 3 engine.
I've set myself an ambitious target, and that is to unearth all of Japan's rusting, nostalgic gems. It's not going to be easy. They're shy creatures and prefer to remain hidden. And, limited time and funds mean they're likely to stay that way,
